A forced conversion, a blasphemy accusation, an attack on a church or a home, bonded labour, discrimination at work or school. The Pakistan Christian Journalists Forum records the case, verifies it and reports it. Everything you write is confidential, and nothing is published without verification and without protecting the people involved.

Confidentiality

Who reads itYour report is saved privately and read by the desk of the Forum only. It is never published as you wrote it.

Victims and minorsMinors are never named or shown. Victims are named only with the family's written consent. Addresses and hiding places are never published.

What happens nextA member journalist verifies the account with a second source. The verified file goes to the family's lawyer, to the press where the facts warrant it, and stays open until the case ends.

No contact neededYou may report without giving your name. A contact lets the Forum ask you the questions a case file needs.

In an emergency
Go to the police station and insist that a case is registered; note the time and the officer's name. Move the person to safety. Keep every document. Then write URGENT at the start of your message here.
